[S1] Miss Barclay, second wife of Dr. richard Bayley, was redelated to the Barclays of New York City from which the famous Barclay Street was named. One of her descendant blood relations, was Franklin D.Roosevelt, writing in 1931 when he was Governor of New York, "In my childhood my father often told me of Mother Seton, for she was avery close connecion of the Roosevelt family,and her sister-in-law, I think, was my great aunt.Her distinguished nephew, Archisbishop Bayley, was first cousin of myfather, James Roosevelt, and tehy were very close friends. ...."
